Praise Is the Overflow of Our Hearts

Praise is sometimes the overflow of our hearts, but more often it's about the intentional turning of our hearts. Adoration is a kind of praying that involves intentional choice. And adoration is at its most powerful when it's greddy, wilful, even defiant. In acts 16, paul and silas were on their way to a prayer meeting, and they healed a traffic girl who was desperately in need of help. The men using her body for profit did not appreciate that very much. They drummed up this bogus charge and got them thrown in prison.
