Star rating in headline is probably there to get you to click through, I'm guessing. Putting the star rating there almost is asking a question, which is why did this rating happen? What is the reason for this rating? It draws the mouse pointer nearer. So I still think they shouldn't do it for spoiler reasons, but at least now I understand why they do it.
