Cotton Mather - The Gift Man

Cotton mather, we named him onecimus, which means profitable and helpful. Cotton mather was his name. And you might know him from his work as the head writer in the ground breaking, long running series entitled the salem witch trial. Well, it was a human being, an enslaved man from west africa. Many puritans actively participated in slave trafficking. There are slaves in the bible, they said. They're not wrong about that. Anyway, i'm sure the man, the gift man, had had a name before he got to the mat household, but we don't know what it is.
