Is Alkalaz a Hardcore Grand Slam Winner?

Alkalaz won't be playing the Australian Open due to injury. He hasn't played since losing badly at an exhibition last month. Jockovic wasn't able to play the US Open, so there's no chance of Alkalaz versus Jockovic here either. I think that's one matchup we'd love to see. And hopefully we'll get to see them play in the US this year too.
