The Importance of Selfish Action
I view the human brain a little bit like a computer, you know, so it does make sense in that way. Why do anything unless there is a motivation in our brains to do that thing? It doesn't mean it's wrong though. You still applaud people who do good things because we want a society in which people are motivated and incentivized to do good things. And I think if they're getting some satisfaction out of helping somebody else, I don't look at that as a bad thing,. If I'm helping somebody, it makes me feel good that they're helped. That maybe was doing a good thing.
