The Importance of Curriculum in Education Research

I would encourage people to read the checklist by Atul Gawande who is a public health academic in the US and one of the leading ones in the country. I think it's really important that we all actually go and understand and get to see curriculum in different countries so just go to the Alberta website and download the curriculum and have a read. It took me a long time to figure out just how different Australia's approach to curriculum and how different their training curriculum is to curriculum in other countries. If I had known this 20 years ago I would have had a much more productive career.
