The Importance of Understanding the Higher Being
From a faith perspective, yes, the principles are around understanding that there is a higher being. The scripture says, Confess Your Sins to One Another, pray for One Another. Everybody can go through really difficult times, and there is no shame. I think the first place is to recognise that in talking about the issue and opening up to a trusted person, that is a massive step. Now the challenge is dealing with how they feel in themselves,. That feeling of guilt, that feeling of shame.
