Is There Ever Political Legitimacy?
I think in his view, there's never been a social political order or an order of legitimate authority that hasn't delegitimized and not just excluded. And so maybe it would be more useful to understand politics as what the people that are excluded from conditions of legitimate behavior and political expression do.
