The Red of the Throne

The red is going to represent the masculine energy that is very much the divine masculine. As you get closer to the top of this card, the red actually changes its tone. It goes from like a light or fire red to more of a darker red. And it's showing action guided by the infinite, which the true source of the infinite is in the void. The emperor shows us there are dangers in this reality that we have to protect ourselves from.
