We've seen a lot of violent crimes spike. We haven't really seen property crimes increase, which is also the case during the pande as well. In new york, mayor eric adams himself, a former police officer, has responded by putting more officers on the subway system. That was in response to the crime that had already been happening. And i think that's also happening in public spaces more generally.
