Many moral judgments are relative to circumstance. What the right thing to do may very well depend on the circumstances. That doesn't make it relativism. The crucial thing is whether you think that there is a dependence on moral code in generating the verdict or whether you think it just depends on the circumstances, says Tim Scallon.
