Vermont's Energy and Climate Plans Accelerate the Energy Transition

Vermont passed its Global Warming Solutions Act in September 2020. The act sets up an accountability framework and operationalizes a focus on how we're actually going to make progress, says VNRC's Johanna Miller. It creates a 23-member climate council that is supported by five different subcommittee looking broadly at how Vermont will achieve the pollution reduction requirements.
