There was a great deal of unease about what appears to be now a strategy of attrition which is wearing down the Russian Federation. The failure to provide more effective weaponry that failure has been paid for through the blood of Ukrainian soldiers on the front line, says Benham. It's pretty clear that the foreign ministry under Anna Linda Beiberch is much more hawkish and activist than the chancellery in Berlin. And so we're now needed to think more creatively perhaps about the kind of guarantees one might give you craying in a post-conflict situation said Benham.
