i was curious about the quality of your writing sessions when you write like that. I did have some concern about writing about a writer, because there seems to be conventional wisdom out there that readers aren't interested in writers. They don't want to look behind the curtain. So i did have that anxiety. But with this book, i really never had that particular voice that this wasn't going to work, that nobody would care. It doesn't mean haven't been incredibly pleasantly surprised by the reception of this book.
