Investigation of New Medications for the Treatment of Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC)

This chapter explores the effectiveness of new medications, including celinidelpar, in treating PBC, a rare autoimmune liver disease primarily affecting women. The study results show significant improvement in liver tests, serum biochemistry, and symptom relief in patients receiving celinidelpar compared to a placebo.
