The Struggles of Evangelical Christians in the United States

I fear that most people in our churches, and maybe even in this room are paying a little to no attention to this crisis. It is a sure sign of American self-centeredness that we would take the suffering of 13 million people and then turn it into an issue that's all about us. Only 12% of evangelical Christians in the United States said that their views of refugees and other immigrants are primarily influenced by the Bible. But more concerned with the preservation of our country than it is the accomplishment of the Great Commission.
