Karon: I was looking headlong into the trials of the tenure track. i think i was afraid that i was going to be a kind of career obsessed academic. And, you know, i think they chewed me up for a while,. and i'm now attempting to extricate myself. But i thinki was afraid of that even then. So i love this this u shaped happiness curve, mostly eause im to come up the other side of it.
