Polycarp is the first martyr's account that we have outside of St. Stephen's account in actually Apostles. Polycarp's martyrdom, if you notice that, it looks a lot like Christ. It's very, very much patterned on Christ's martyrdom,. Christ's death. So that's one of the themes as you go through the letters.
