Digital Technology Promotes Diversity in Clinical Trials

Digital technology is driving the change in clinical trials. It allows us to assess rural communities, which are not necessarily going to hospital for a variety of good and bad reasons. The UF FDA I think in 2020 looked at their data and found that they had in the data submitted for approval they had 75% white Caucasian participants whereas alone in the US it should be no more than 60% white Caucasians. So you can see that we still have a huge doubt or we hope that decentralized technology is one step but it will only be one step to really move us forward in better recruiting the white population.
