The Table but the Bottom Is Not the Table
The idea here is recognizing there is no inherent nature of a table. The practice ties in well with a teaching that I talked about in episode 175 called the two truths. And it can become an extremely powerful exercise when you turn the focus from an object, something like a tree, and instead look at yourself through the same investigative lens.
