Are Black Jurors Less Likely to Get the Death Penalty Than White Men?
There's an assumption that having black people on the jury would hurt a prosecutor. Is there any data that would say that's even remotely true? The hardest thing about looking at this stuff analytically is that juries are like a black box. White men are seven times more likely to want the death penalty than a black person.
