How to Get From Your Hotel to the Track Over an Hour

We took the Metro to the race right after we heard that that was the best way to get there. Got a weekend pass. We had a hard time knowing what to wear because it was it was cold. I underdressed. It's kind of cool because you get on the first subway Metro stops empty then it gets packed and they had to take a shuttle again and then walk. How long did it take to get from your hotel to the track over an hour?
