An hour before details of the indictment were announced by the South Carolina Attorney General's office on Friday, Elik Murdoch's attorney Jim Griffin told the island packet, quote, this doesn't appear to add anything new to the case other than additional charges. The depth of the new charges filed against Elik Murdoch clearly contradict Griffin's assessment. This is yet another confusing move on behalf of Elik Murdoch’s defense team, quotes unquote, the Bulldogs, Jim Griffin, and Dick Harputlian.
