The Fermi Paradox and the Nuclear Bomb
The fermi paradox is the question why we haven't seen evidence of extra-terrestrial life. It was first posed by physicist and architect Fermi during a lunch break on the site of Manhattan's nuclear bomb project. The idea that if intelligent life had gained a foothold beyond planetary confines they were spread around the world, according to one theory. A few decades later scientists went looking for signs of alien life in New York City trash bins but found nothing.
