Are the Realists Really Predicting the Future?

Many realists claim that whether it's called soviet caristrosia, or soviet union, or post soviet rossia, they their leaders always behave in a predictable, similar way. But history shows this is not the case and we can see other rezimes such as germany which has been posing as a political threat to its neighbor. The idea that any regime, irrespective of ideas, will act in the same way is empirically not true. It takes away the role of ideas, and it takes, itakes away therole of human volition. So objectivism makes to thinking about international relations and foreign policy more important than ever before.
