The Fed Will Do Whatever It Takes to Fight Inflation
Down the road we're going to get price controls, because there's going to be no other way that they can go after inflation. Politicians don't have the guts to raise taxes on the middle class or cut entitlements which are enjoyed by the middle class. They'll never accept responsibility and will blame everybody but themselves. And certainly i don't think jerome powell is willing to do what paul volkar did in the early 19 eighties to get rid of it. Because the us Economy is in much worse shape now than it was back then.
