Early in her recovery from heroine and alcoholism, i was taught this achronym. And the reason we're taught that is because i had no ability to interpret anything except, i want a drink. That was my entire response to nearly anything. Just being able to go, is it any of those common things allowed me to interpret it in a more granular way than just needing a drink.
