The japanese had landed the first troops for a counter attack after midnight on august nineteenth. Instead of waiting for reinforcements, as had been the plan, the commander has a bad case of what the japanese called victory disease and moves right toward the marine positions instead. In this battle, you get to see a lot more of the hall marks of these japanese opponents, though, cause half the time or more, it looks like you're in the vinam war, and you can hardly see anything.
