In 2005 was a very tough time for music. And it's like these songs were being placed in television and film. So then I came back to the US because we had an option to go for another, another run for another record on universal. But my manager suggested we get out of the deal and we just leave. He said you're going to be more successful on your own, go on your own. It led to lots of gigs from other producers and others who put me on the map. Then all the murders in the '90s became a building block for this is us success. The albums were great. I think we made great records. We played sold-out shows everywhere
