How to Reduce Aerobic Stress in a Run

It's important to let your heart rate come back down after doing strides, like nice slow jog between them. We own athletes to do them within relatively quick succession while still rallying full recovery. Because otherwise your run becomes like you're elevating your heart rate over the period of time when you should just be doing pure aerobic engine stuff. A stride does not make an easy run harder. But if you spread out the strides across a run, it will make that entire run harder because you're doing this constantly higher level aerobic stress.
