Chad: I was coming through the door and I was going to my bedroom. The door slammed in the sibling's face, missing the fingers by just a little bit. How could you ask him to hurry up in a respectful way if you were holding the door? Why? He doesn't usually listen to me. But yeah, it's like, I could just tell him I got to go and say, could you hurry up, please? Or. Sure. That sounds like such a respectful way to interact with your brother around the house.
