I wouldn't tell a black person that he doesn't live in a racist country. The concern is black people meeting their deaths literally at the hands and guns of white people. But that happens less frequently than almost every other permutation of interracialized violence happening in the United States. We're not racially violent in 2023, not interpersonally.
