We don't have any basis for how lauri acts normally yet, exactly. We can't account for the way that he's behaving because we don't know anything about who they are as characters. Even if you hadn't lengthened the flash packs and just done it in a inear time line, it would have given a completely different feel. You would have cared so much more for the characters, and it wouldn't have even had to be the whole thing was linear. Like we said with the aeronauts, you could have done a little bit more flash bags in there without having, like, the entire thing be this jarring back and forth. I don't really know what
