The Risks of Artificial Intelligence
Janet Haven: Most of what we are talking about in the public discourse around AI and its implications for society is speculative. More than half of experts believe AI will be able to do every task better and more cheaply than humans by 2061, according to a survey. A new report shows that AI replaced nearly 4,000 workers just last month. Over 350 leading AI developers and tech executives signed a joint statement saying AI poses a risk of extinction on par with pandemics and nuclear war.
