The Importance of Skepticism

There's no doubt Jesus was there. How do we know? Because these sites were venerated of going back all the way to the first century in many cases, you know. I think it goes back to Descartes and his whole remaking of the Western philosophical process based around skepticism and systematic doubt. We have to trust other people. It's a good to trust traditions. It's good to trust your parents. These are functional in actual human society. Trying to do everything based on doubt is really destructive.
