The Importance of Testing Your Technology on an Airplane
The north and south poles of planet earth will swap on an occasional basis. Takes about 700,000 years for it to happen, although we are overdue for a magnetic field reversal. And we actually see something very similar with the sun. The sun has an 11 year cycle where the north and south pole will switch. We're approaching solar maximum right now, which is why we're giving a lot more sun spots,. It's a pretty cool time to be watching the skies.
