The Double Factor Problem

The story grid methodology is then so much of the kind of colloquial writing advice, right? Because a lot of the advice even going into like describing the world, right, the room they're in or whatever. And it comes back to, well, what is going to get the controlling idea across? Like pick those things. So just like having that in mind has made, it starts making those decisions of what to put in the story and what to leave out. It's easier to make having that clear kind of litmus test.
