The Uncertainty of the Lower Level of Loadshedding

It remains uncertain how sustainable the lower level of load shedding will be, as the energy system remains vulnerable. July and August are critical months in terms of the system's ability to meet the demand. This is because the power systems constraints were exacerbated by the loss of four major units that have a total capacity of around three gigawatts. Those plants are due to return to service only later this year.
