What's So Special About the Keytos?

I mean, just feel so odd to have them be dog like at all. Why do they depict that? It might just be a sort of artistic innovation. So it might amuseem a nice flourish, in a way. But we don't really know why things like that occur,. I mean, i can't think of any sort of logical, logical reasonsh! This has been so incredible.
