The Role of DHT in Baldness
No correlation between pattern of baldness and serum androgen has been found. Pathogenic action of androgens is likely to be mediated through the intracellular signaling of hair follicle target cells. The, the basic takeaway is that circulating blood levels of DHT aren't what calls baldness.
