When you look around and and you see other kids who look like you, who are living on the streets as beggars. You internalize a lot of that. It really shaped me when i started campaigning for the sen because that is when i started to come across folks who were in the same situation i was in in my teens. So that my dad lost his job, and they're unemployed now, just as my dad was. And i started to talk to people about hunger.
