Bhut: The spiritual journey is always relational. We're using the same circuit in the brain, seein god's presence and god's love in and through one another. When we love each other it mobilizes our capacity to feel in relationship to god. That's extraordinary. Some of the teachers at very, very good schools don't see beyond their own desk. So you know what i do, says a wise teacher or a school chaplain, i take them on a service mission. And the're standing shoulder-to-shoulder with some one who is suffering and helping someone, something cracks. What is born is a sense of brotherhood and sisterhood, a relational spirituality
