Is There a Recession?

The us. Central bank raised interest rates last week by three quarters of a point, but sounded a little more devilish than it has in a few months. Many old favorites reported quarterly results last week and while they are all showing signs of slowing down, the outlooks weren't too bad. Yet investors pounced on those stocks after their earnings releases crossed the wires. Is it that the feds interest rate hies are working, or are prices dropping as the drum beat around a possible global recession get louder? Probably a little of both.
