Is Complexity Complexity a New Discipline?
Talib talks about how the new disciplines are kind of understandable to lay people but only in their infancy. He's saying that like sociology and anthropology it's only happening right then in the 60s when he's writing. And I think this is something interesting like I do interact with it at a layperson level just becauselike I don't know I'm not one of these people who's doing my cellular automata in a computer screen or whatever. In a sense complexity the reason you can talk about it that way is because the whole point is that we kind of don't know.
