Paul is saying, here's how a Christian would look beginning in chapter two. Most of those people would have grown up thinking that religious practice looked like honoring Artemis. And it's always going to be over against what does holy living look like if you're a devotee of Artemis? So they need to learn and they learn in quietness and full submission like everybody does. That's just how a learner should be.
