The Peel Commission's Report on Palestine

The report produced by this commission is one of the best documents on the period that you can find. It's over 400 pages, very clearly written in siht full. And it really impressed me the guys on this commission knew what was going on. The claims of the arabs and the claims of the jews in palestine were irreconcilable. Britain had helped create the conditions for this current animosity. We utterly deny that it means bringing great britain into conflict with world islam. Given a firm resolve, made clearly known to both jews and arabs, all this would be performed with the normal smoothness of any other equally big colonization enterprise.
