The Function of Guilt

I feel quite clear about guilt, and that's relatively recent for me. I really subscribed to the idea that unless I have done something objectively wrong, then guilt is not the appropriate feeling. So whilst I might get a feeling of something, we can talk about that - but guilt is only there to signal to us when we've done something objectivelywrong. It's supposed to point us to the repair we need to make, and actually, once that repair has been made, the feeling is supposed to go away. But you did go to Starbucks, I think you can add that on. And I didn't take my own cup, so I am again contributing to the death of the planet,
