The Transition Point of the Day of the Lord
Peter's thinking, we're in the last days. Those days that are around before the day of the Lord comes. Can Peter is living in the present, but he sees it progressing toward the transition? He also doesn't disagree with other New Testament writers like Paul who see the Old Testament elements not occurring in Acts 2. They still consider those elements future when we're past the time of Pentecost.
