The Channel Islands were occupied by the Nazis in June 1940. The islanders had but a few days to decide whether they wanted to flee or stay. Kahuna Moore and Claude Kehuh decided to stay, taking photos of Nazi troops. They also began making their own magazine using German magazines. It was an 'act of insurrection' that made them feel more alive than ever.
