The Lord Stands Near Paul and Says, Take Courage
Paul had hoped to return to Jerusalem and tell his fellow Jews about Jesus. But when he arrived, he found people against him because of his ministry with Gentiles. Paul was under house arrest by the Roman authorities. How will God respond to Paul's discouragement? We find out in verse 11. The Lord stood near Paul and said, Take courage as you have testified about me in Jerusalem so you must also testify in Rome.
